1932 Linn Tractor with Sargent Plow
Rennie M Elliott wrote the following on January 8, 2017:
Those color slides will eventually deteriorate although I hardly use them, and the 35 mm movie (silver nitrate, everyone is scared of them today because of a few cases of fire) need to be permanently, digitally copied and stored in archives so they are never lost. We probably don't have 1/10 of what once existed, and the great thing about many of these photos is how much of the local area they recorded. This photo depicts the "Scintilla Building" of WW2 subcontract work as it appeared in 1934, now used by the town for storage, it had been built in 1923 for a service shop. The little porch by the upstairs window allowed photographer Warnken of Oneonta, to take above views of the tractors.
