1947, Morris Postmaster Lee Starr and clerk Jane Knickerbocker check Naylor shipments. Lee Starr was the postmaster in Morris from 1935 until 1950.
A photo loaned by Howard and Eilleen Elliott shows Dr. Naylor and his employees crossing Main St to go to lunch at De Long's Restaurant for some "home cooking."
Another photo shows Postmaster Lee Starr and Clerk Jane Knickerbocker checking in shipments from Dr. Naylor Company.
Both photos were taken by J. F. Gould of Morris, NY. Telephone numbers have changed a lot since 1947 when Tel. 29-R2 had meaning.
