This was in Dad's photos and it shows our daily to and from school trek at the time we lived in the Henry Washbon tenant house. That place was a fantastic bit of heaven to roam as a kid, and Henry was quite the character. We had the whole hillside with firepond above and the pasture below the barn, along with the creek that dried up in the summer to race around. As little kids we climbed the very steep banking (at the time) up to the gate at the far corner of the "Big Field" when walking to school. Shaw's farm is on the middle left.
