Charles Haynes dies at Maple Grove, Otsego County, New York - August 28, 1921

Adding some info to findagrave.com I was working on a bio for Thomas Luther Haynes, son of Charles Haynes. I couldn't find much on Thomas Luther Haynes but I did find a short note about his father Charles from The Star [now The Daily Star], Oneonta, NY, for August 30, 1921.

Charles Haynes Expires Sunday Morning
After Long Illness.

Maple Grove. Aug. 29 -(Special).-
Charles Haynes of this place died at 9
a.m. on Sunday, August 28. He had
been in falling health for several
years, but had been confined to the
bed only about two months. The funeral
will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday
at the house. Rev. Mr. Dillon of
Hartwick will officiate and interment
will be in the Hillington cemetery at
Morris,
The deceased was a son of Mr. and
Mrs. Thomas Haynes was about
66 of age. He was married to Adelia
Houghton of Otego, January 16, 1888,
and for a long time had been a resident
of this place. The surviving members
of the family are his wife, two
sons, Verner and Thomas Haynes,
both of this place; three daughters
Mrs. Arthur Lent, of Briar Creek;
Mrs. Myrtle LeRoy of Oneonta; Mrs.
Lewis Wilde of Maple Grove; seven
grandchildred, also one sister, Mrs.
Sheff Stone, residing near Morris.
He was a worthy and much respected
man and a devoted husband and
father, and the sympathy of many
friends will be extended to the
members of the family.
