Thanks Frank! It was a fun place to live!

Henry Quinn
Is this the house where the Gregory's lived?

Frank Rock Smokehaven Shepherds
Yes, Peter and Audrey Gregory still live there. I lived there from my birth in 1952-1954. I think my parents may have lived there starting around 50 or 51.

Here's a photo that I had posted before of the side porch on the house. Taken around 1953-54 .opposite side of the house in the above photo.

The people from left to right are-Rita Rock-Louis Enders-Donna Mansfield-Harold Rock-Joyce Enders-George Mansfield-Mary Mansfield. I have had this photo on a side table in my living room (for years)

I can not place this house??

Henry Quinn
Do you recall where Cindy Card lived?

Henry Quinn
This house is on the four corners where you would turn off from route. 23 to turn down a dirt road to Gerard Bourgeois's farm. At the bottom of Harris Hill Rd.

Henry Quinn
About 2 miles past the school on the way to G-Ville on the right.

Frank Rock Smokehaven Shepherds
I was lactose intolerant as an infant and my Mom would take me in a little red "Flyer" wagon down the dirt road to what is now the Bourgeois farm to get goats milk. I keep thinking that the name of the people was Rowe........I currently work with the s… See More

Frank I wonder what happened to the goats we had at the place. I think we had 4 or 5 of them.

Frank Rock Smokehaven Shepherds
Could be they ended up at the Rowe farm? Down the dirt road across from the house -the farm just before the bridge and the stone house ( Colonel Leslie's-Stroh's) Did you keep them up behind the house in the Quonset type chicken barn?

Leona Shelley
Was the Ed Peet farm.

Frank Rock Smokehaven Shepherds
Did they have a daughter that married a Rowe? Seems like this "daughter' is the mother to the guy I work with. So it was the Peet Farm back around 1952-3?

Leona Shelley
They were there for many years, They had a tenant house, have forgotten who worked for them. I do believer Gerard and Doris bought the farm from them in late 50's. Gerard worked for them at the time.

Susan Gaughan Rowe
Our Rowe family is in Gilbertsville

Leona Shelley
Found notice Mr Peet killed in farm accident 1949. She continued to live there a few yrs - I had forgotten the accident!

Frank Rock Smokehaven Shepherds
Now that you mention it the Rowes lived in the tenant house. IF that was their name and their daughter baby sat me. That is probably where the goats milk came from. The guy I work with ,David Hadlock, his mother was the one that baby sat me down there,… See More

If it was the Rowes', could have been one of the Wagner girls - just saying. They lived on Grove St. when in HS

Susan Gaughan Rowe
Gladys Rowe's son was Dennis. Wagner girls were her daughters. No close relation. She was a bartender at the Morris Inn

Frank I don't remember where we kept them, but they were so cute, I had names for each of them.

Frank - you must ask the name of David Hadlocks' mother.
