Morris, New York, lithograph by A. S. Avery after 1872

A lithographic view of the village of Morris, N.Y. Drawn by A. S. Avery. Lith. J. Bien. With additional coloring. Undated, but, because the new Baptist Church is depicted in the left middle ground of the print (the church with the tallest spire), it was drawn sometime after 1872, because the Soldiers Monument in Hillington Cemetery, erected in 1872 is visible. Avery was a local artist, photographer and jack-of-all-trades.
