Morris High School
An undated unused postcard showing the Morris High School. It was built in 1894 and replaced in 1932 with the Lewis Rutherfurd Morris Central School.
The newspaper page attached below reports that Frank Churchill hauled the new heating apparatus to the school from Mt. Upton. It weighed 9,000 lbs.
Another view of the Morris High School in this postcard dated November 12, 1915 that was sent by Grace Fuller to her cousin Ray Fuller Morton just after his birthday on Nov. 10, 1915. Notice how the trees have grown.
Grace Fuller graduated from the Morris Training Class and became a district school teacher in Burlington and later in Edmeston. She married Walter Ward in 1934. She served as tax collector for the Town of Edmeston and active in her church.
