April 1985, South Broad Street bridge (rt 23) it was nice to have a separate walkway. The 1902 flood actually washed out this end of the previous (1877) bridge and they had to reinforce it with steel pilings, and again in 1913 it washed back out to them.

The new 1877 bridge depicted in the 1878 History of Otsego County, and appears in a number of postcards, (even the prized colorized version with a pink cow in the creek below!)
