Postcard 1906 postmark, Kenyon House, Beldin on the steps
Rene Elliott provided the postcard scans and wrote:
Mollie Burt, somehow related to James P. Kenyon, was writing home to a friend in Savona, Steuben County, NY. Her son (Samuel) Belden Burt one of the two men standing on the front porch, I have to wonder if the old bearded man leaning on a cane at the corner is J.P. Kenyon himself? E.S. Watson owned the hotel before it burnt in 1883, the "Watson House", but he sold it to Kenyon after rebuilding and ran it for him, I can only guess Burt may have lived there until the building was sold by Lynn Kenyon's widow to Gages?
