The brick front was on Gage's by 1923, Dave Fenton has removed the little store (old fire house) extreme right which has not yet been replaced by Floyd Bemiss' Barbershop/resteraunt (old Quaker Church 1929). The "Morris Chronicle" sign no longer on the building extreme left, (removed 1924?) and you can't see if it has been converted to a auto dealership yet or as the Naylor Co. home a few years later (c. 1927?). I can't tell much about the car license plates. Also, the front of the bank still has the pre 1929 look.

Charles Lawrence's was in front of his hardware store, and the First National Bank is on the left as well. The Morris Chronicle building (1900, the two story wood part of the Naylor Co.) should be first on the left, with one of the Carpenters out front? It would be the last building in the photo above, before the creek/McNitt house.

Is that a hanging light fixture over the four corners? You can see the flag unfurled in the distance towards the water fountain, in front of the post office. George Washington's birthday? If we could figure out the star field pattern of the flag that would help narrow down the years it could be, most notably if before or after 1912?
