The first two photos are of my great grandfather, Dr. Merrit Matteson. The horse and buggy photo was taken at The Grove, at that time occupied by the Quinby family. My grandmother, Anne Steere Matteson, was good friends with the Quinby sisters. Anne is about 18 years old in the photo.
