Church? Or campus clock tower? Where is it? The tower has both a bell or bells and a clock.
It was the Congregational Church on NYS Highway 12, aka Main St. in Sherburne, NY.
Now it is referred to as the Sherburne United Church of Christ.

Found this with the help of the Civil War Monument.
The monument is located at the intersection of NYS Highways 12 and 80 in Sherburne, NY.
It was donated to the village of Sherburne by Dr. Devillo White in 1881.
He died in 1882 leaving a fortune of about $500,000.
You can see a sketch of Dr. White and read about his life at the link below.

This link lists 1883 as the year of dedication of this church. An earlier one had been lost in a fire that devastated
much of downtown Sherburne in 1880.

Shown below is the view up N. Main St. looking the Civil War soldier's shoulder from the bell tower of the Congregational Church.

A view of the Sherburne House from the bell/clock tower of the Congregational Church.
The Sherburne House was built in 1880 and burned to the ground in a fire March 1, 1915.

You are not alone.

This is a photograph of Grant's Tomb which was dedicated in 1897, twelve years after Grant died in 1885. The tomb is located in Manhattan on Riverside Drive and West 122nd St in a area called Morningside Heights.

Here's an early postcard of Grant's Tomb.
