The Morris Manor Farm, Morris, NY: A History by Warren Ryther.

Warren Ryther has taken the time to write a short history of the Morris Manor Farm. He has also written a memoir about the time that he spent working there. That will appear shortly.
He has very kindly allowed me to share this with readers of this web site and the Morris Historical Society page on Facebook.

South Broad Street Bridge, State Highway 23 as it crosses the Butternut Creek. Photo and comments by Rene Elliott.

April 1985, South Broad Street bridge (rt 23) it was nice to have a separate walkway. The 1902 flood actually washed out this end of the previous (1877) bridge and they had to reinforce it with steel pilings, and again in 1913 it washed back out to them.
