Morris Old Home Days, 1977

A kind soul allowed me to borrow the Morris Old Home Days program from 1977. I have scanned it and you can access it by clicking on the cover below.
Be patient, it may take a few minutes to load. Very few of the people named in the program are around now -- so you are calling their spirits from a great distance!

Looking at a portion of the 1912 USGS topographic map available at the link at the bottom of this page.

Use this link to view other maps in the collection. You can use the search in the top left of the screen to put in town and state - the best
fit appears above the search box -- you will often have choice of dates of map revisions to choose from.

Morris Central School yearbooks -- scanned and searchable - 1927 - 1996 - with a few missing from the set

The Lewis RutherFurd Morris Central School as it appeared in the early 1930s on a snowy morning. Photo shared by Rene Elliott.

Recent interest in the history of Morris, NY in Otsego County, led me to ask Lois Jones, Alumni Association Secretary, to let me borrow some yearbooks from her collection to scan them. If you click on the 1931 link you can open that yearbook and see the senior picture for Draper Daniels.

The yearbooks uploaded here can be read and searched with the free Adobe Reader available from http://adobe.com. If you search a file and don't get any hits when you really think that you should, try searching for just a part of the word. For instance, often a search for "Daniels" will come up empty but a search for "dan" will find words like dance plus all the Daniels.

Click on the links below to download and view the yearbooks. Or click on one of the images to go to the PDF file.
